About Me
Asheville..............it's a magical place. I landed here in 1995 after spending my 20's traveling the US. I grew up in SW Florida and then spent the next 10 years moving from Boston to Boulder, Carmel, Tucson and finally Portland, Oregon. I got my degree in Geography/Urban Planning and worked as a urban planner in Portland before moving to Asheville where I was a urban planner for The City of Asheville for several years. I was involved in helping create the master plan for greenways.
I bought fixer upper Victorian house through Appalachian Realty and was determined to be part of this fun group of people. I left planning and have been involved in real estate since 1999. I have a passion for housing. I have restored many houses over the years. I am very familiar with historic homes and green building. Asheville has plenty of both. If you are looking for a older home in a walkable neighborhood near downtown, a green built house or a downtown condo, I can help you.
My two daughters were born and raised in Asheville. They went to both Asheville city schools and Hanger Hall are are now at Asheville High. There is no place like Asheville. It's culture, climate, art, food, people, outdoor lifestyle and vibe combine to make it a one of a kind place to live. My passions are hiking (with my dogs!), road and mountain biking, yoga (great yoga here!), walking downtown, farmers markets and cooking with friends and family. I love sharing my passion and knowledge of this wonderful city with others. I'd love to help you be able to call Asheville your home too.
